Wait so the point system can be challenged?

After the cooked meats post and all the negative reviews the company got.. the conversation about point system got some traction. Can we please discuss this? These days all warehouse/factory positions always come with this system. Some places don’t even accept drs notes. They want you to not miss a single day or minute for your first 90 or you will never get hired on. They keep temps working for like $11 an hour and use this system against them only to keep them as temps for sometimes even longer than a year before they deem you worthy enough to hire on as full time so you can get full time pay (starting at usually $14/hr with “raises” per year for cost of living. There’s so much that they do. But I think I’m going to sit down and report each and every one that I ever worked in to OSHA. I know all the unsafe things they make people continue to work with/around. I had to quit one job because their flimsy ass drill tip kept breaking and when it finally got lodged into the base of my thumb (I got super lucky it didn’t grab onto a tendon and rip it out), the supervisor gave me a bandaid to help with bleeding then put it down as a “slip”. HR had to correct him. But by then I was done with the place and I knew the being black and complaining would have gotten me nowhere.
