First time poster — loooooooong time lurker. full disclosure, this is me asking if i'm legally allowed to be petty.
I got a NEW job offer and signed, and feeling excited to leave my job and was fully planning on quitting, no two weeks notice, on friday. (the reason for no two weeks, is my gut is telling me that they would not let me work out the rest of my shifts and cut my schedule anyway).
They just messaged me asking to review my performance(huge chance i could get fired). For unemployment in CA, i have to get fired to get unemployment? what if they follow my instagram and i post that i already had a job offer lined up, blah blah blah, so the jokes on them? would that count or exclude me legally from unemployment after they fired me? i can't believe how toxic this place is, and GOD i really wanna have my chess moment of being like, i was two steps ahead. lol.
**This job that has given me so much ammo to post on here, but I've held back. (I LOVE reading everyone's stories on here and it's completely empowered me in my own work). so for that i wanted to say THANK YOU ANTI WORK SUB!!***
