Hi guys: long story short. I work full time at a company in California which is registered under DIR. According to the law, I am supposed to get 24 hours California sick leave (my work has put up the poster on the board since it’s required by law)without getting questioned if I get sick from vaccine side effects. They are only allowed to ask medical documentation if I exceeded 24 hours. The first day I got sick after getting booster shot, I notified them, and they asked me my vaccination card which I don’t mind to provide. Second day, I was still not feeling well which I had to call in sick, but the on site nurse forced me to come back to work. She said just take Tylenol and come back to work. I told her I had fever at night, and I had body ache and chills which she asked me to provide thermometer for that. Since I wasn’t feeling well, and it gets me frustrated, so I just went and saw with my doctor which found it ridiculous since normal people got sick two days after getting Covid vaccine. I am just wondering if company’s not following the laws that they are registered to comply, can I seek the lawyer for that?
