So I started in June for a United States chapter of an international non profit. I have multiple issues and also had covid since I was employed. I get that I get points if I miss work but here even if you have a doctors note you still get a point
Example: I went to the doctor in the mid morning and they did a test on me that made it so I couldn’t see for several hours which would last past my shift. I called in and said I couldn’t work because I couldn’t see well and the doctor said it would last past my shift. I got a doctors note for it and I still got a point
Also with this company you can’t have any un paid time off. I will have to make up my hours missed in the same pay period as what I missed. This counts for sick time and vacation. If you don’t have PTO you have to make it up. Is this normal? It seems really odd to me. The medical problems I am having now may last a while because I don’t have any answers I am unsure what to do.
