Antiwork

I used to run a local list of businesses open on Christmas, this community encouraged me to stop doing that.

For a number of years I would update my local online group of what businesses like restaurants, gas stations, and other services would be open today – I ended that because I don't want to encourage the thought of making people work on Christmas. There's been an undeniable shift in the favour of workers and upon reflection that service I was providing was detrimental to that. I can go a day without buying anything, more importantly I don't need to partake or promote a system that denies people just one day off to be with their families.
