Currently I’m working at a large urgent care chain in NJ as an X-ray/ med tech I can’t name it but there buying up everything they started in NY. I received a job offer from another urgent care but it’s a national franchise it owns around 7 centers. Currently I make 37 an hour with a differential and it comes out to around 85k a year. It seems this title is meaningless because only 1 other x ray tech would be under me and I’d only be responsible for one machine usually leads are responsible for more equipment and techs. The thing is my main goal is to be an imaging director I’m going for a masters degree I feel this job title and experience would look better a few years down the line when I have my degree and start looking for a management position.
