Changing time of clock in, legal in Michigan?

Exactly what the title says. My manager has begun saying that if we are clocking in early (even stayed on purpose or accident by a few minutes) she will be changing the time back to scheduled time. I understand making sure to be staying along the hours of scheduled employees per week, and the idea of not wanting to pay overtime. However I have reviewed my hours/paychecks and have noticed that it appears she’s begun to change my times on verbally “approved” times of being early. Can they just change the time to…

Can they just change the time to the scheduled time? Even with the idea I was indeed there AND working?

Thank you!
