So, in the foot of our emails it says that the 24th and 25th are days off. But, we were told we could only take the day off if we had Vacation time to use. Well, when I was sick with Covid I was forced to use my Vacation pay to cover for it or I would have been a week out of work with no pay.
I asked how it would work if I had no VP left and if I could come into work on Friday, I was told no and that no one would be here so I can't come in.
Is there anything I can do or do I just have to eat the day with no pay? It sucks if I have to eat it, but if I don't have to then I don't want to, y'know?
Already struggling as is so a day of no pay makes it just that much more harder on me but if this is the only option then I guess i'll just have to take it.
Any advice? In Texas if it helps.
