My girlfriend has recently started a new job at a cleaning company. She had a house to clean that was filled with dog and human feces and urine all over the floor, among other disgusting things. With only one other person helping clean the fairly large house it ended up taking them both 9 hours to clean.
Her employer is now saying he won’t pay for the full 9 hours, and will instead only pay for 6 of the hours, and is acting like he’s doing them both a favor. I guess I’m just looking for advice, not sure if here is the place to do it but hopefully one of you can give us some advice on what to do. We’re both just 22 so we don’t really know what to do or where to even start. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide any information on what to do.
