Long story short leadership at my job is writing everyone up with more than 3 latenesses per quarter. The thing is that we just got new leadership in quarter 3. Our old leadership allowed us a 5 min grace period to clock in. They aren’t honoring that grace period and writing up the whole department based on latenesses from over half a year ago. I told my union delegate that I want to grieve my write up. They told the delegate since I was verbally warned about latenesses from 3 years ago that I have a pattern problem of being late. I’ve never been written up for lateness in my life. How can I legally tie them up in paper work to make their lives a real challenge? They also have not published a schedule for the month of December.
