I worked at a security position at a meat packing plant for about two weeks until today. They only gave me two days of training which covered not that much. I had two posts, one at the employee entrance where i just sit there and watch cameras,and the other post at a truck gate. That truck gate is hell. Every time a truck comes in or out I gotta fill out paperwork and it’s just me there. Yesterday, when I was there, there was so many goddamn trucks I had piles of it unfinished. Anytime I think I have time to file it, more come in. Then, They want me to stay over, unpaid, and have it all filled out cause day shift, with three people on their shift, doesn’t want to do it. Tonight I just couldn’t do it anymore, I told them I’m out.
