So, I was working in my call center shitty job as a Floor Support and the OM sent me a DM with a meeting saying HR needed me in 2 mins. They told me the campaign decided to terminate my contract without cause, no further explanation. I was shocked and asked if it was related to my performance or a task, they said no, I was doing really good. Then I asked if I said something that might have hurt someone or something like that, they said nothing about that kind has been reported so far. I messaged the OM asked what was going on, he said “Hey, it was not related to your performance.
Let me get you a quick context: I had a boss that was really rude and we had 4 times everyone noticed his attitude towards me, I reported it to the OM and asked him to have a meeting he, my boss and me to solve that in good terms. He denied it. My boss at the time, was yelled at by some top bosses from the company because his team was really unhappy. So, he was moved back to other tasks and then we had a new leader… A woman that was given 3 teams at different times… All of them quit lol.
Not sure why they thought she was the perfect leader for us, but well, we were really different. She always works with that old call center shitty attitude and toxic happiness, none of my coworkers replied to her salutes or anything in the meetings lol. She put me a verbal warning due to forgetting to do a report and she added some other micro management shit like “3 mins after your shift started you didn't reply to a question”. I always had an attitude of “sorry, won't happen again” and really worked on my gaps. After some weeks I noticed they were trying to make me quit by micro management shit. As they couldn't make me quit or follow the company's warning to terminate my contract, they decided to just to it in they way in happened.
Now, my response. There was a leader that was always flirting and asking for inappropriate things to the women in the company, mostly with the CSRs. This had been happening for 2 years, none of them have reported it to a high boss or HR due to fear of being fired. They always trusted in my Floor Support team to talk us about what was happening. I reported it to a Senior leader, nothing happened. Another FS reported it via email with screenshots, nothing happened. I revealed everything in an email to HR as they were not aware about the sexual abuse because the leaders didn't forward the complaint to HR as it must be done. I also explained other shit happening there that HR doesn't know because the staff from the campaign always hide it to have a good face.
Imagine how they are doing now after evading their processes with HR for 2 years 🙂
Additional info: the campaign reunited my ex-team and told them it was due to my performance and different goals LOL. Good thing I'm still friends with them and they know I was a top performer, if it was due to performance, then they should have followed the corrective process.
