Hi! I'm 20, so if this all sounds like someone who doesn't know what they're doing, it's almost exactly that.
I love my job. Not the company (that's being handled, very long story).
I work in a medical adjacent field to where if I abandon my post, I could get major legal repercussions.
I'm very sick though. And I called my manager 2 hours ago, explaining the situation best I could while working. It's been 2 hours, and I haven't heard from her.
I'm not sure what to do. Do I text her telling that things for me are getting worse? I'm doing my job okay but if my asthma were to get triggered by being sick, I'm not sure what could happen.
I'm very worried. I don't think I'll get fired, but I don't want to be on anyone's bad side. And my manager is the only person who could fill in for me. I'm not sure what to do.
Any advice?
