So, I am looking for a new job, because my current one that I had accepted is under paying me for my experience and degrees, and I only accepted it to keep my head above water.
I was interviewing for a front end management position. Im not going to post the whole interview, just the cliff note important parts..but…deep breaths…
“So why are you interested in working here? You really over qualified for it…”
Me: Excuse me?
“Well its true, and were also looking for someone who can cater to the younger demographics, so we are looking for someone in that age range”
I couldn’t believe it. In the space of two minutes this guy had broken two laws, I think. Age discrimination for sure. Im 41, and have grey in my hair.
I said, “your right, why am I here. Hey whats your name? Mike? Great. Heres an interview question, why is your wife cheating on you with the neighbor? Oh prolly cause your a douchbag” and walked out.
At this point im feeling that becoming a crime lord will pay better, have more health benefits, and ill prolly be happier.
