My company saying questionable things regarding insurance, not sure where to find information

My company stated that if we go under 30 hours a week for a month we will have to pay our insurance premium for the next month as they would remove us from insurance. My question is whether it would be the premium for the current insurance contract, or whether it would be an entirely new insurance that you would then go through. It seems to me the law points to having to go through the entire insurance decision again but I can't find anywhere that tells me. The likely scenario would be someone taking a 2 week vacation, not having enough paid leave, and then missing a month of insurance benefits.
