My company gives us 10 days total. Vacation and sick days combined. It doesn’t roll over. I get the bare minimum of holidays off – New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. I’m getting surgery early next year. It is recommended to take off 10-14 days. I’m feeling sad thinking about how I’m going to have choose between going back to work too soon after my surgery, not getting paid, or not taking any vacation/sick days for the rest of the year.
