I was told that I could not take off a certain day to fulfill doctor appointments (already scheduled mind you) because it’s “not fair and not right” to be out all day and come back in the afternoon for an extra-curricular. “We don’t let the students do it.” And people wonder why teachers are dropping like flies. I will be one of those flies.
