It took a full year to deny my raise

I intended on requesting my raise last December during my annual review. This review was postponed all the way out to April. I first made the request and just yesterday received a firm no. But my boss wants me to know I'm still appreciated. Good thing I've been applying around. KNOW YOUR WORTH
