Hi all. So here's the deal. I've been with my current job for 5 years. I want to cry reading that. I should have left a long time ago. It's truly like a toxic relationship. What put me over the edge was I recently asked for a raise. God forbid. I already carry a much, much larger work load than others at my level/title. I was told I can only get a raise if I take on more work. I'm so done. So I started interviewing and landed a great job!!! My new job is okay with me waiting until January to start. My biggest concern in losing pto. I would have 4 weeks carried into 2023. So they have to pay that out, right? As long as I give my notice in mid December that I'm leaving early January? Our HR is pathetic, btw…I'm in Illinois if that helps. Thanks!!!
