So basically our new boss is cutting our hours, our holiday pay, our PTO, our shift differentials, and they’re changing every petty detail in the work area. I work at a big hotel brand, as a housekeeper.
Our new boss showed their old staff around the place, showing them the rooms, and whatnot. Everyone is super pissed and we wanna do something but we don’t know what we can do. We’re in Mississippi so it’s an at-will state.
We’re having a mandatory meeting about our pay. Some of us are getting together before the meeting to try and come up with a petition but we don’t know how. If anyone has any suggestions or advice we would really appreciate it.
When we were hired we were promised full time hours, PTO, and holiday pay. But I’ve also noticed that my hours don’t line up with what’s on my paycheck. I think our new boss is putting in our unpaid lunches but none of us take a lunch.
