I am starting a new job soon and I just left my toxic employee where I stayed far too long. I allowed them to dump work on me, stayed late, and I cared so much of others’ opinions there. Even to the bitter end I wanted upper management to like me. I’m afraid I will make the same mistakes. But I also feel this is a chance to reinvent myself. Idk how to not fall into the same old trap.
