My team and I have been wfh since May. It was a team vote to do this and it passed 4-3. Yes I do miss the office atmosphere and talking with co-workers and working from home and being in your house all the time kinda sucks. On the flip side my team has the highest profit margins and overall sales in company history(we are one of the largest drillbit makers in the world). Work from home has proved to be so successful it even blew my mind. Coworkers still made to go in the office get jealous and complained and our old boss made a decision for us to come back in full time. My team reached out to me and basically told me if you back this we all quit. I hate to say it but some people ARE NOT replaceable. This team is not replaceable. Old boss got caught messing around with a co worker and we get a new one. He calls me and said no decision has been made on coming into the office and will look over the numbers. Yes it’s true I’ve been playing TLOS 2 for a couple hours a day but he looks at the numbers and sees that we have broken every sales record in company history. He calls and let me know…if we wanted to work from Cancun or a vacation spot we will never be returning to the office.
