I just started a job and I was told 1st and 2nd shift works 40hrs a week while our weekend shift works 36 hours (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) but they get payed as if they worked 40 hours? Is this normal in the workplace? We don’t rotate shifts but if they come in outside the weekend they don’t get paid overtime until they reached the 40 hour mark.
