Hey gang my company is rolling out a new system and I have mixed feelings about it. And with current topics buzzing around I'd love to hear some input.
My company provides me (<1yr) 2 weeks vacation, and operate on a 8 point scale. So kinda really you get almost 4 weeks off if you're smart about gaming the system. Next year we are maintaining the vacation allowance and are gaining 5 paid sick days. With the addition of PTO they are dropping the attendance scale to 4 points. Each point resulting in a write up and 4 your gone.
So I'm cynical for sure but here's my thoughts. I love that we are getting PTO, that's pretty unheard of in the south. Though I feel that the 4 point system with write ups all the way through could result in some attendance fuck ups resulting in an unsavory termination.
I'm conflicted, what do yall think.
