I am an oursourced worker for a US based company, it’s miserable.

I recently entered the work force ~ three years ago and have been hired by a small contractor company about a year and a half ago that's based in a poorer European country, I will not get into specifics but essentially, it's a WFH ordeal that's loosely based in Tech. The company promised better pay with months to come and training, neither has of course happened. Recently, on request of a US based company, I have been transferred to a department which is predominantly American, some Canadians and a few Mexicans. Everyone in that department is getting paid much better than I am just for the record. Previously I worked in a largely independent department and haven't interacted much with the US side of the team. Everything was relatively bearable. We were told to continue our work normally despite working with different tools and software we were given no training…

We were told to continue our work normally despite working with different tools and software we were given no training on – a lot of self-education was overdue, despite that we have picked things up way faster than anyone had expected and have been doing a stellar job all things considered. Deadlines are met with little to no effort, the work quality is up to par with the US based team. Of course, we are paid only a fraction the US team is since we are being pimped out big time – about 10% total or so. At first I didin't really care, you get what you get and you don't complain.

It's been 5 months since i started and I've been met with nothing but animosity from my coworkers despite not bringing any attention to myself and not messing things up, like at all. I've heard, seen and read very mean spirited comments targeted towards my team and I for no reason at all. We are actively targeted as if it's our fault we have been put here.

I get worse pay, benefits and work hours than any of the US based workers are, despite that I feel like i am being held to a much higher standard. My work has been nitpicked, ransacked and deconstructed whereas a US based worker's equivalent is met with unanimous praise.

Interestingly, the US managers have been very nice to us, most likely due to the fact that we are outputting the same quality while being paid much less.

I've also talked to my HR which basically told me to shut it because my opinion and experience is null on the matter.

Everything I say and do is closely monitored and has been since day 1 and I do not understand why.

If you are looking into working for a US based company as a contractor from another place, don't do it. It's miserable. And yes, I am looking for a different job, I just can't afford quitting yet, I will probably put in a month or so and live off of my savings until I get a new job. There's no money in the world that would make me put up with this shit for much longer.
It's affecting me mentally and emotionally because I am simply not being treated as a human being here.
