This has been bothering me mentally lately and I feel like a huge failure. So I had a job Ioved, made decent money, and things were going great for 6 months. All of a sudden I needed urgent hip surgery. So I had the surgery and was out for 8 weeks with my doctors notes. Well I ended up not recovering correctly and I had pain still. I needed more physical therapy so my doctor wouldn't let me go back to work just yet. I was given notes from my doctor to be off work for what ended up being an additional 4 months. I was sick and needed a lot of help to get well and make my hips function again.
So, I had been sending my boss these doctors notes every time the previous one would expire. I fully intended to go back to this job. I was looking forward to it like a light at the end of a tunnel.
One day I got an email that I was fired but she said it wasn't for health reasons. Yet she didn't give a reason besides needing to fill my position but that doesn't make sense. Wtf was it for then? I'm so sad anytime I think of this. I've never been fired.
