So I started a new job in early October and in the offer letter it stated I would have three days of prorated PTO for the remainder of the year. I signed it as the pay is not bad and the medical wasn't bad either.
I just requested to use one of my pto days for an extra day after christmas, and was told by my hr that the pto time that was in my offer letter was a mistake. She stated the GM accidentally may have added it, and that I would have to wait until the 1st of January to even start accruing any time.
WTF… I don't give a shit if he made a “mistake” its in the offer letter that I signed and was signed of by the head of hr.
Is this legal?? I'm in Pennsylvania by the way. Shit like this really fuckin pisses me off as technically I'm losing 600 dollars in time off which was agreed upon by me signing the fucking offer letter.
