I took 2 days off for my birthday and anniversary and even though I was talking about it the whole week I was slapped with a disciplinary note for ‘unauthorized time off’ upon my return maybe because I forgot to send my boss a formal email.
Anyway, I was told how good an employee I was and how they see a lot of potential in me. The situation did not sit right with me because I thought a verbal warning would have been better since it was my first time? I also know thay we are a small team of 6 people and my boss discusses everything with everyone so at this point I think everyone knows I got a warning letter. This is really embarrassing for me and I’m just having work conversations with everyone, nothing mlre.
Now today, after 2 days, the boss sends out an email to everyone reminding them the vacation rules and leaves me out? I know that because I have access to a tesm member’s emails in her absence since I’m covering her.
Why woukd he leave me out?
