I work for daily pay temp agency and have taken breaks at this particular restaurant many times, always getting 2 15 minute breaks and a 30 min lunch. Tonight after working 3 and a half hours I go to take my smoke break, and 5 minutes on the dot; the GM rudely orders me back inside and I’m told. “I will not pay you for a break under Arizona law you are not required to get a break”.
After a few minutes the GM told me he was clocking me out “30 minutes ago” and I lost 7 dollars!
Who do I report this to or how do i do SOMETHING on principle?
