I’ve been doing gig work for a small business but the owner just has his head in the clouds. His expectations are that we work and act like full time employees, while also paying us part time wages, giving part time hours, etc. I’m so over it and I was offered a job working (with my boyfriend!) last night and sent my notice this morning that Friday was my last day. I feel bad but at the same time I haven’t had an off day since November 27th and this Wednesday will finally be my first off day before I start this new job. Thank you all for giving me the confidence to quit now and not offer to work up until my first day at the new job! I’m looking forward to the rest.
