I’ve made it a personal policy to never buy lunch at my workplace’s cafeterias. My work gets a cut of the profits from these cafeterias and I can’t stand the idea of giving them back the money I earned from working for them. When I tell my coworkers this they are surprised and say they never realized the company was making profits off of the cafeterias. Why else would these companies have food vendors on site? These companies aren’t doing it out of the goodness of their heart. They need to always get something out of it.
It just surprises me how the general public is still brainwashed to think the corporations are here to “help” us.
