I have been working as a flooring installer for quite a while which is an ok job. My boss over the years has underpaid prevailing wages (forced to pay back this money from the IRS, but he didn’t pay most of us.), had us remove piles of asbestos without providing ANY protective gear, has physically grabbed employees, and has threatened to not pay us/pay us a week late for turning in our time cards late (sometimes we work extremely long hours and we leave our time cards inside the store and there is no way to turn it in the correct day). Who is best to report him to preferably anonymously and is it even worth it?
How do companies like this even still exist? I don’t even get paid decent to put up with this shit. Feel somewhat trapped in this job in my small town.
