Boss keeps asking for knowledge transfer sessions

I have noticed of late my boss (he’s new to the team) keeps scheduling meetings where I am to “train” a few engineers in my team. They constantly ask for sessions to be recorded. The reasoning is – what if one of us gets hit by a bus? And so others should be able to continue work. Is this ok? What can I possibly do?
