I asked a question of my boss about consultants in my workplace and chain of command. My boss replied asking me, why I would ask this question. I responded by giving an explanation that included “ basically for cya purposes in general considering I am now receiving work requests from people that aren’t actual employees and I don’t want to be doing projects for the consultants only to here I shouldn’t be working on said projects”
