This community cares about Parental Leave policies among many other things. The situation isn’t great right now, and something needs to change. One way to affect change is to let those in power know that we care about the issue of severely lacking Parental Leave policies, and an easy way to let them know is to send a letter to elected officials at all levels of government.
The link in this post is to a ‘ready-to-send’ letter to our Elected Officials, to let them know that we care about expanding protected Parental Leave, and that things need to change!
Use the letter to email or mail to your elected officials at any and all levels of government. Feel free to copy the letter and edit as you see fit to suit your own needs. Please share and further distribute the letter to others that also care about this issue. The more the elected officials hear from us, the more likely that action will be taken.
