I have a job interview this Thursday at 4pm, which I just scheduled today, I start work at 5pm and my shifts 3 times out of a week are only 3 hours (not worth)
I go into work and let my manager know “Hey just letting you know I won't be coming in this Thursday, I have a appointment” to which she goes “2 days notice is too little notice, can't you re-schedule for another time or one of your personal days??” lmao Nah, I'm not re-scheduling a interview for a potential new job for you, my position isn't even important, I just scan in documents ffs and I feel like I'm losing a braincell every time I do it. Be thankful you're getting a notice and I'm not just calling in the day of
Told her I'd check if they'll have any other openings but oh no, I “checked” and they don't…too bad 🙂 I already have the message ready and waiting to send in the morning, sure I'll hear about it/asked about though anyways
A 2 day notice is enough time, not like I'm asking for vacation time off or anything, things come up outside of my personal days lol
