My girlfriend just started a new job in downtown nashville and has been making great money. Today during their pre-shift meeting, the managers told them that they’re gonna start taking 20% of their tips at the end of the night for themselves. This is illegal and I know that, only problem is there’s no way to document it because all they see is the money on their paycheck. There’s no way to take record of the percentage that’s being taken out for the managers to keep. Any solutions would be great!
