I know some employers are assholes, but I didn’t they could be this cruel. My buddy got fired for not coming in on his day off because he was at the hospital because his wife and baby girl are fighting for their lives in the icu. The fuck? I am so angry and pissed right now.

I don't want to go detail about my buddy's situation because it isn't my place, but he calls me late last night saying he has to rush his wife and new baby girl to the icu. I talked to him all night the scared outta his mind. Call him this morning, and he informs me that his job fired him because he refused to come in on his day off which is today and was being in their words unprofessional. Fuck those bastards! What the hell were the expecting in this situation? Where's the humanity? Fuck management! Also, things are still touch and go any positive vibes are most welcome.
