Applying shrinkflation to work

Just saw a post on here related to wages and the loss of real buying power made me wonder if people could pull an uno reverse on employers. If you didn't get a wage to match inflation you could say put in 10% less work then normal (or whatever the inflation rate is) as compensation for your loss of buying power. Obviously if you were the only one doing it you would get fired but if everyone did it, it would put companies in a real pickle. Companies do it to us all in the grocery aisle so why not apply it back to them and use that time and energy working on our own passions.
