I was thinking about this the other night while stuck in traffic. The reason why companies can get over on us, is because of how much we devalue our time. Just think about this, last month was Black Friday. How many people gave up spending time with their families on Thanksgiving night, to go sit in front of a Target/Walmart/Bestbuy…..FOR 12-15 HOURS, Overnight, in the bitter cold, on a fold-able chair…..just so they could save a few hundred bucks on a TV or some $5 Blu-ray movies?
