I was a store manager for Luxottica (US) but after 2 bouts of covid had to go on medical leave. I'm still fighting long covid and other disability and was unable to return. I filed for an extention but was told I had used up all of my allotted time, and since I didn't (couldnt) return yet was told that it was considered a Voluntary Resignation.
Is this going to mess me up for applying for unemployment because they listed it as resignation? Or is it still legally being fired?
