My pregnant sister placed on 30 day probation with only 1 written warning at local community action agency daycare

My sister is in her first trimester, working with babies from 6 wks to 9 months old. Since she has become pregnant, her boss has reprimanded her and mentioned that she increase her anxiety meds, as well as telling her “she doesn't want to have to fire her.” This happened on Thursday of last week. Today, Monday, my sister came to work and signed her formal written warning and agreed to be placed on 30 day probation (UNFORTUNATELY). My sister is very sweet and it wasn't until talking just now that I explained she may be getting pushed out. As of right this minute, she receiving paid 6 wks maternity leave and she makes $20/hr. The agency is understaffed and stretched thin. My sister's first written warning was because she ripped a pair of jammies when a 6 month old had a giant shit blowout and she's not supposed to…

My sister's first written warning was because she ripped a pair of jammies when a 6 month old had a giant shit blowout and she's not supposed to damage the clothes, understandably so. So that warning was Thursday, the warning was signed on Monday and there is no signature on the previous 2 warnings.

Any legal advice welcome. The company is desperately in need of aids, which they only have to pay $8/hr vs my sister's $20. She's been with them for five years. The other warnings were verbal.

IN ADDITION, my sister is only 29 but has metal rods in her back from a spinal surgery from years prior. She cannot lift over 30 lbs. To reprimand her, they stuck her in a room with 2-3 year olds, many of whom are over her weight limit.

She has a great work history, is wonderful with children, does not receive the breaks and lunch breaks she legally should be owed.

Thanks, Reddit!!!
