I’ve been applying for jobs since I was laid off in August and I keep getting rejections. This one really stung. I thought I had it in the bag. They interviewed me 3x, made me do a task, and then called all my references all for them to “reassess” and realize they didn’t need the role after all. Talk about major lack of communication in the company. They completely wasted my time and didn’t update me for 2 weeks until yesterday even though they kept telling me to be patient and everyone absolutely loved me. I feel so discouraged.
