PSA: check your states unclaimed property website

Over a decade ago I was fired from a Sweet Tomatoes. I checked my states unclaimed property through the treasury website and I had money from sweet tomatoes waiting for me. My final check. I know for a fact I collected my last check after being fired. It was a nice bonus for a few hundred bucks. The irony that they went defunct was not lost on me either. Lots of old paychecks are waiting out there
