My father is in a union, and since I'm under the age of 26, I was able to reap the benefits at ZERO extra cost to him. Doesn't matter if he has zero kids, or 30 kids, it'll cost the same for him for insurance.
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 (I also beat it so we're good now), after the expensive year (for our insurance), his rates, deductibles never increased. Below is a spending summary for 2020 🙂
I turn 26 this year, and granted I work for a great company with great insurance, it'll never beat union insurance.
