It's absolutely gross. I remember when I was a kid. Literally everything was closed. Outside was like after a plague hit, barely anyone around. If you weren't a police, firefighter or worked in a hospital you wouldn't be working. If you didn't get gas the night before too bad.
Now it's insane, driving to a friend's and every gas station, liquor store, most coffee shops and a bunch of restaurants were open. They can't even give their people a single day off.
I get that some people dont care for Xmas or hate being alone and would rather work. But I highly doubt every single person working today wanted to.
