Best Buy

Our AP office caught on fire this morning and our store leader refused to close the store. The sprinkler put the fire out. I don't find out about it from leadership. I find out from a sales floor associate hours later. As the day goes on the sprinkler keeps going off. Store leader's idea is to just go up and turn the valve off because it's too cold to turn off the water entirely. Another hour goes by. Fire alarm starts going off. We don't allow anymore customers into the building but we allow the ones still shopping to take their time and complete purchases. Final customer leaves. Water suddenly starts pouring into the vestibule and you can smell burning plastic. The front of the store starts flooding. A group of employees leave because they're told to do so. Another group of employees is forced to stay another 20 minutes…

Not only does Best Buy not care about us. Sometimes your own fucking leadership care more about their bonus than your own safety.
