My position got eliminated and i was offered the choice to transfer to a new job or take severence. Took the severence but the severence offer requires me to work 3 more weeks. I feel insane like I’m being held hostage. I haven’t been told what I’m expected to do within his time and no one has been identified as a trainee to absorb any of the work I was doing. ….. I guess the extra paychecks will be nice but it’s honestly so humiliating and feel like I’m being punished.
