Director requested we work remote when business was closed, now wants to change timeclock to take away time from those hours worked

Director requested we work remote when business was closed due to weather to make sure things get wrapped up at end of year, payroll gave everyone full hours for the closed day in all departments. Director now want to change timeclock to take away time from those hours worked on top of the full hours that were assigned to me via payroll, I worked while other departments are closed. Although their oversight; I am entitled to compensation, no?
