FMLA and unlimited PTO policy

So I have a question – I've thought about going on FMLA for reasons, but now my company has an unlimited PTO policy. I know I'm going to have to look into the specifics of what the policy is and how it works with FMLA, but does anyone have any experience or general advice to share? What should I look for? What might be a problem? etc
